Flight: From Here to Eternity | Pedro & Anastacia

“My Destination Will Always Be You”

Time has not dampened our memories; as we recall Anastacia who came to us last summer. A woman of action, if I might add. She knew exactly what she wanted her wedding stationery to portray - a destination theme wedding.

The wedding invitation was designed to mimic a Bahamian Passport fully expressing the couple’s love for travel and their country.

Passport Style Invitations are a perfect way to set the tone for your destination, island or travel themed wedding. Whether it be abroad or local, give your guest something to look forward to

The colour scheme for their wedding was navy blue, blush, burgundy, with gold accents.

Their invitation had The Bahamas’ Coat of Arms crest, and motto ‘Forward, Upward, Onward, Together’ in gold foil printing. How fitting! Fastening the passport was a navy blue ribbon tied with a custom Gold Plexi Plane tag with their engraved wedding date.

This passport invitation really had us yearning to get out and travel.

Anastacia and Pedro had their engagement photo, a special moment that they wanted to share with everyone inside the passports. It was able to hold all the wedding details that the guest would need.

The last page had a beautiful poem by Tim Smith, “Fly to Me” that captures their sincere feelings and hope for each other. My favourite verse was ‘Fly to me my love on the wings of hopes and dreams’; how divine for the special occasion.

The beautiful passports were then placed into a golden envelope and addressed with the guests' names. Then they were fastened with a custom wax seal and satin burgundy bow.

They had decided to go with monetary gift envelopes to drop in the well-wishes house skillfully crafted by the groom with accents by us at Template.

The Bride had no worries, for the invitations were ready for delivery when she collected!

The photographer CSM Photography captured their precious moments as the bride prepared for the ceremony. We got to witness the bride in all her glory. And she was just stunning. The camera captured the excitement of the bride beautifully.

From her designer rhinestone headpiece to stiletto heels, Anastacia was truly a vision to see.

The connection between the bride and her party looked so sweet.

It is truly wonderful to see such love and support shown on their special occasion. But we’re guessing that the bride’s mother was her greatest cheerleader. We now know where the bride got her style, beauty and grace from.

The ceremony was held at the historic St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, the oldest Anglican church building in The Bahamas. The church was filled with splendour and decorated elegantly with blush and red floral arrangements with greenery.

The guests were handed their boarding pass ticket to help navigate them through the wedding ceremony.

Tea Length style programs are available at Template styled in any design matched to your wedding theme. To match Anastacia’s overall theme, we went with a boarding pass ticket program that received her delight.

The program was printed on white gold cardstock with linen paper inserts. A special ticket to their special ceremony; we would say.

The special hour arrived, as the dashing groom made his entrance followed by his trusty best man.

The Bridal procession looked delightful as they paired up and walked down the aisle.

The blends of navy, red, and blush looked dazzling.

It signified the fast approaching arrival of the bride. These Here Comes The Bride signs are customizable with words and ribbon colour of your choice along with flower girl baskets that come in many sizes and designs available at Template.

While the groom waited with bated breath for Anastacia, his bride; he was astounded at the sight of her as she was ushered down the aisle by the giver of the bride.

Anastacia looked breath-taking in her wedding gown and accessories designed beautifully by Nona Couture Atelier. The ceremony was lovely!

The Curtis’ were amazed at the decor and setup of their reception by Ingrid Major of Beyond the Décor.

The decorators truly did an outstanding job - from the floral arrangements to the tables’ layout.

The guests were also happy with the Seating Chart that helped them find their seats without any confusion. The Seating Charts at Template are tailored to your wedding colours; brooches, buckles, and bows all to complement your stationery and décor. Anastacia and Pedro’s Seating Chart included their engagement photo making their seating chart more memorable.

Let’s not get started on the food; that conch chowder and snapper. ‘Only in da Bahamas, I tell ya.’ The menu card was a tea length ivory cardstock with a royal gold foil border rounded edges.

Accompanied with the menus were table cards on each table with the couples table name of their choice, table number, and shaped in a flag style on a pole stand. The custom pole stands were created by the groom.

Everything from the toasts to tossing of bouquet and garter. The couple and their guests enjoyed every bit of it.

Anastacia was especially thankful to their bridal party for their efforts and support that she got Customised Apple Ciders to go along with her gift bags for them.

The groom and bride had their first dance, and celebrated with their families and friends.

We wish this beautiful, creative and savvy couple blessings and love always. Flying together for the rest of their lives.
