Can we agree that family is at the heart of Christmas? With that thought in mind, it is fitting to promote and encourage togetherness this holiday season. We decided to feature real families in cozy pajamas doing Christmas in their own special way. We hope this inspires you to share your treasures as well. Dads, moms, kids, uncles, aunts, couples, sweethearts, cousins, friends and even the family pet, have all geared up for a great holiday! As you read through these beautiful traditions and greetings, be inspired. Be encouraged. We will also be happy if you would share yours too.

Marsha Saunders & Family
At Christmas time we love we be together for
a time of prayer and reflection.

The Richardson Family
My family usually spends Christmas Day having lunch in Lyford Cay. Because of the pandemic restrictions last Christmas, we had lunch at home. Different location but the same warmth and love of family. #familyiseverything

Rob & Beth Elliot
Make and decorate sugar cookies. Listen
to Handel’s Messiah.

The Smith Family
Christmas is indeed the most wonderful time of the year! During this yuletide season, there are many traditions that my family and I participate in. Our traditions include but are not limited to sorting Christmas lights for the tree, sipping hot cocoa with whip cream, taking family photos in pajamas, cooking together as well as traveling to the snow capped mountains. One thing is certain - our family bonding time is our most treasured tradition. Showing love and appreciation to each family member is indeed paramount especially during this time.

The Maycock Family
Lights, food, cameras, family, friends , action make for a merry Christmas with the Maycock’s. Traditionally our celebrations begin on Thanksgiving day with the decorating and lighting of our Christmas tree along with a scrumptious thanksgiving feast this starts the Merry in our festivities. For our family Christmas is a time we show appreciation to all who have warmed our home and hearts the year through.
Christmas Eve will find us having lunch at one of Nassau’s finest restaurants followed by baking of gingerbread cookies, singing carols, reading the Christmas story, and watching a Christmas movie as we prepare the house for Santa’s arrival. Christmas morning for us is not only about the gift opening but also a time of family devotions as we share with our children the real meaning of the day, the hope we have and the faith in the perfect gift that was given to us, God's only begotten son.
From our home to yours we wish you a Christ centered Merry Christmas! and May the Peace and hope of this season fill your homes and hearts the whole year through.
